The MODI project was presented during the poster sessions of the H2020 GAMMS Final Event, held at the World Trade Center in Barcelona. Organised by ENIDE, the event gathered stakeholders from across Europe working on autonomous mobile mapping and intelligent transport systems.
Members of IN-Move by Railgrup cluster, MODI Communication and Dissemination lead, actively opened the event and actively contributed to the programme.
The Port of Barcelona gave a presentation during the opening session, sharing perspectives on innovation in port logistics.
The poster sessions provided a moment for informal exchange, where MODI was among other CCAM projects featured. These sessions fostered productive discussions and new connections among researchers, engineers, and industry professionals.
Additionally, the event included the following sessions:
A first roundtable, titled “HD Maps as the Backbone of CCAM and Infrastructure Management”, was moderated by ENIDE. It brought together BAX, Virtual Vehicle, IDIADA, and CARNET. The session offered a rich discussion on the strategic role of HD maps in the development of future mobility systems.
The second roundtable, “Driving Innovation with Geospatial Intelligence”, was moderated by AITEC. It featured CEMOSA, CTTC, ASFINAG, EURECAT, and MOTERE. The speakers addressed the transformative impact of geospatial data on intelligent mobility, infrastructure management, and cross-sector innovation.
