MODI partner TNO invites you to the Use Case Netherlands public event within the frame of the Horizon Europe MODI project, focusing on CCAM for port operations and drayage. The Netherlands use case explores how CCAM can support current logistics operations at port sites, with particular attention to the interface between the vehicle, terminal operations and the physical and digital infrastructure (PDI) that enables safe, efficient and coordinated operations. The event will also show how this use case contributes to wider MODI results related to vehicle coordination interfaces, PDI design and adaptation, impact assessment, and recommendations for logistics deployment.
During the two-day event, participants will discover the results, findings and key learnings from the Netherlands use case in Rotterdam. On 14 April, the programme will focus on the technical realisation of integrating CCAM technology in logistic operations as developed for port terminal driving and Drayage, including live demonstrations with DAF’s CCAM truck, a bus tour, and in-depth sessions on the technical concepts and developments behind the demonstrations. A networking dinner will follow in the evening. On 15 April, the event will continue in Rotterdam city centre with presentations from logistics partners on the logistics interest in CCAM, including perspectives from ALICE, APM and MAERSK, followed by a panel discussion, conclusion, lunch and an optional afternoon programme. Attendees are encouraged to join to find out more about the concrete findings of the use case, especially in relation to port operations, drayage, CCAM integration and PDI readiness.
