MODI Project Engages at the CCAM Association Intercluster Meeting Last Week!

Last week, members of the CCAM Association convened in Brussels for a two-day gathering enriched by fruitful panel discussions and networking opportunities.

MODI, represented by ALICE, participated in an informative session showcasing the initial demonstration results of several groundbreaking projects such as SHOWHi-DriveAWARDULTIMO,. Each project offered status reports on its advancements and underscored the challenges encountered.

One of MODI’s milestones was the authorization obtained for real-life testing.

During the following session, moderated by Mats Rosenquist from Volvo Group, who also serves as CCAM Cluster 1 Leader, a panel consisting of Pier Camillo Carrescia (Autostrade per l’Italia), Laura Babio (POLIS), Fernando Liesa (ALICE), Aria Etemad (Volkswagen), Arwed Schmidt (EasyMile), Holger Loewendorf (IRU), and CCAM vice chairman, Hamid Zarghampour (Trafikverket), engaged in a dynamic discussion on CCAM use cases. Each participant shared their viewpoints on highway and urban mobility and a fruitful debate on CCAM challenges and broader adoption took place.
