Last week, during the ITS World Congress in Dubai, the MODI project was presented numerous times and has attracted wide attention from attending partners and stakeholders. Various project partners participated in the congress on the conference floor and during the congress sessions. ITS Norway discussed MODI contributions in panel discussions and presented the project several times at the Nordic+ pavilion, including a pitch to the ambassadors and consul generals of the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, and Latvia.
Technolution presented MODI at the ERTICO pavilion, and a technical paper on future traffic management was presented during a technical session on Innovative forms of traffic and mobility management.
We met and discussed with members of our international stakeholder board group and Q-Free and ITS Norway arranged a dedicated meeting with an Australian delegation eager to learn about the project. MODI also attracted interest from, among others, US road authorities, Japanese OEMs, and Asian research institutes. Several of these stakeholders will join brainstorming sessions and engage through their contacts with consortium partners. This brought the visibility of the project to another global stage.
