Silje Troseth, Vice President APAC & General Manager Australia at Q-Free ASA, was responsible for presenting the project at the ITS Australia Global Summit 2023, focusing on the opportunity that MODI presents to accelerate the introduction of highly automated solutions to enhance European logistic chains. Former president and CEO of Q-Free, Thale Kuvås Solberg, was also on stage discussing issues and topics about Sustainable Transport.
Although the MODI project is funded and developed in Europe, its approach has sparked interest in international forums discussing autonomous transport systems for logistics.
The ITS Australia Global Summit 2023 was held in Melbourne from August 28 to 31, 2023. The summit was the largest gathering of international transport technology leaders, with over 1,000 international and Australian delegates attending the four-day event hosted at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The summit focused on accelerating smarter, safer, and sustainable transport through data connectivity and cooperation. The event explored the themes of smart infrastructure and data ecosystems.
