Einride and ALICE, Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe (ETP LOGISTICS) represented the MODI Project and made a positive impact at the 9th International Physical Internet Conference (IPIC).
The conference was held in Athens, Greece from June 13 to 15, 2023. It focused on “Expanding the Logistics Scope” and aimed to transform the way physical objects are moved, stored, realized, supplied, and used through the Physical Internet Initiative.
The conference covered a wide range of topics related to the Physical Internet, including a proposal and evaluation of a digital twin framework for PI-Hubs using reinforcement learning-based multi-agent systems model and environmental impact. The conference was open to all physical internet topics and focused on Physical Internet as a suitable approach to overcome the latest global challenges.
Fernando Liesa, Secretary General at ALICE, Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe communicated the project objectives and addressed some questions inviting the participants to follow up on the MODI Project.
Per Olof Arnäs (Director of Logistics Strategy at Einride) participated in an insightful plenary session: “Electric and Autonomous only make sense when going full Physical Internet”.
